The Twins Graduated!!

I still can't believe that Brianne and Ben are old enough to graduate. It seriously doesn't seem that long ago when my mom was pregnant with them...but I guess it has been 18 years! I was glad that I was able to take a half day off work to go home and see them get their diplomas, even though it meant waking up at 5:15 am the next morning to hurry back to Utah for work. Congrats Bri and Ben, I love you guys!!!

Getting their diplomas!!

Andrew came to Idaho with me. As a side note: No, we didn't match on purpose!

It was fun to see Malory and Jana at graduation. Malory is one of my best friends from high school and Jana was our roommate at BYU-Idaho and then married someone from our high school.

I love New York!!

I was so excited when one of my friends invited me to go to New York City with him and a few of our friends. I’ve always wanted to go to New York and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I am always hesitant to take time off from work, but fortunately we were leaving on a red eye on Wednesday night and I could come back on Sunday, resulting in only missing 2 days at work. New York is unlike any city I have ever been to. It’s so fast paced and there is so much to do there. My favorite part of the trip was going to a Yankees game at the new stadium, I had never been to a Major League Baseball game and it was so fun to be surrounded by tons of diehard fans. I also loved riding bikes in Central Park. Some of the other things we did were: shopping in China Town, walking the Brooklyn Bridge, riding in taxis, rode the Subway for the first time, ate at yummy restaurants, got a pedicure, went to Times Square, and walked around the city. There were so many other things I wanted to do but there just wasn’t time…guess I’ll have to go back another time!

Rode-o

I'm behind on blogging so now I'm playing catch up. A few weeks ago I went to Idaho to the Dodge Circut Finals Rodeo in Pocatello, Idaho. My Grandpa Hillman buys tickets for us every year and it's so much fun. This year I bought Kassi pink cowgirl boots and she looked adorable.

San Fran

Recently I got to go to San Francisco for a very last minute work trip. This was my first time in San Francisco (unless you count the time I had a layover there). I got to stay at the Four Seasons and the guy at the front desk gave me a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Suite. I was also able to spend an afternoon walking around Union Park. My mom was very nervous to have me wandering the city all by myself but it was a cool experience. It probably would have been a little more exciting if I was with people, but I still had a good time. I'm off to an even bigger city tomorrow...New York City!!

Cats

A few weekends ago I went home to Idaho to watch my little sister Brianne perform in the Snake River High School performance of "Cats." The play was a lot of fun. I loved the costumes and make up. Brianne of course did an amazing job and in my mind stole the show with her song "McCavity" It has been a lot of fun to go home and watch Brianne perform through out the years, she is very talented! Love you Bri.

Super Bowl Party

When I was growing up one of the reasons I loved Super Bowl Sunday was because it was one of the only Sunday's that we didn't have to eat dinner around the table. Plus my dad was a high school football coach and so I always enjoyed watching football with him. Anyway, this year some of my friends had a huge Super Bowl party. I'm not necessarily a huge Steelers or Cardinals fan, so when I was deciding who to cheer for I remembered that my brother Nate use to have a Steelers pillow in his bedroom so I decided to cheer for them! I made a bet with one of my friends that the Steelers would win...so now he owes me dinner...sorry Johnny!

Sundance Film Festival

I was introduced to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City two years ago when I got a job with People Magazine to work in their Celebrity Lounge. It was a fun experience and I was able to meet a lot of really nice celebs. Since then I have enjoyed the festival. This year I went to the festival four different nights. I went to a few parties, dancing at Harryo's, dinners, a film, and walked around Main Street.
